About me
Creating a Safe Space for Growth and Healing
Hi, I’m Corrie, a qualified Integrative Counsellor based in Liverpool. My passion for counselling stems from my own experiences, and I’m committed to helping others find clarity, strength, and hope during challenging times.
I live in Liverpool with my three wonderful children and enjoy spending time with family, friends, and Alfie, my mum’s dog. When I’m not working, you’ll often find me relaxing with a great TV show or listening to counselling-related audiobooks, constantly deepening my knowledge and skills.
My Journey into Counselling
My interest in counselling began with a personal experience. After my first child, I faced post-natal depression and turned to group therapy for support. Initially, I was anxious and unsure about sharing in front of others. Over time, I discovered the power of being in a non-judgmental, confidential space, where I could process my feelings and learn I wasn’t alone.
This transformative experience inspired me to become a counsellor myself. In 2016, I started my training and volunteered with The Samaritans as a Listening Volunteer. This role gave me valuable insights into a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, loneliness, and addiction.
After qualifying with a Foundation Degree in Counselling (FdSc), I gained further experience volunteering at Riverside College in Widnes and working with online counselling projects during the pandemic. These roles taught me the value of adaptability and showed me how effective online counselling can be for many clients.
Why Work with Me?

I adapt each session to suit your individual needs and preferences.
Flexible
I offer online and telephone counselling, making therapy accessible and convenient .
My Counselling Approach
I am an integrative therapist, blending Person-Centred, CBT, and Psychodynamic models to tailor my approach to each client’s needs. Some people prefer a safe, supportive space to talk through their challenges, while others benefit from structured techniques to address specific issues like anxiety or low self-esteem.
I believe therapy is a collaborative journey. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts and feelings in a compassionate environment, working towards greater self-awareness, healing, and personal growth.
